Dedication

From the beginning of our relationship, our parents have been supportive of our decision to be a couple. Our parents were with us from day one and have grown with us through the years. They were there to see us off to our first days of school, they were there for the boy/girl scout meetings, they were there on the days we were first learning to drive. They were there when we said goodbye to our classmates at high school graduation, they were there for our first days at college and they were there when we successfully graduated college.

Through it all, our parents have been very loving, encouraging and supportive. As we begin to make our journey together as adults, we are very grateful for our parents and for all they have done for us throughout the years. They stand as wonderful role models in their relationships with each other and with friends and family. Even after our initial wedding site closed, our parents helped us through the difficulties we faced and have been very helpful with all the wedding planning. We cannot thank them enough for everything. We love you!

About our parents

Joyce and Robert Glatfelter were introduced through a blind date by some of their friends in 1977. They were married the following year on August 12th at Reservoir Park in York, PA. They have been happily married for 28 years.

Harriet and Richard Gonzalez met at a party in a mutual friend's house back in 1971. Two years later they were married at The Carriage Club in Teaneck, NJ on August 19th. They have been happily married for 33 years.
